West cigarettes is a German tobacco brand owned by the British company Imperial Tobacco, long (100 mm), king size (85 mm) and short (70 mm), 19, 20, 25 or 30 cigarettes in a pack, hard and soft pack. Since the early 90s it has become a popular brand in more 100 countries.
West has been the principal sponsor of the McLaren Formula One team, renamed West McLaren Mercedes, since 1997. In July 2005 West terminated its relationship with McLaren due to a European Union ban on tobacco advertising.
